Here's Why You Should Focus on Paid Traffic

A few years back, when I started affiliate marketing, I was following a blueprint from one of those "gurus".

He was showing how to rank for product names to make affiliate commissions from review blogs. It was super effective but I hated how much link building and maintenance it required.

One day, I tried to use PPC traffic instead... I knew Pay Per Click traffic sources like Google and Microsoft Bing Ads were quick to ban and affiliate review blogs would put me in trouble land.

So I decided to try direct linking instead, with physical products.

I started bidding on product names - and to my surprise this worked right away.

Here's an example of a campaign I just started recently - I'm only bidding on the product name keyword here:

It's really a 1,185.6% ROI campaign.

I paid $42.78 for PPC traffic and got $550 in commissions, netting me $507.22 profit after only 11 sales.

This campaign is still running, and if you're wondering, this is NOT one of those one-time lucky jackpot campaigns, it's something I've been doing time and time again for a while now.

Yes! That's really 21 affiliate sales and $1,470 in revenue from a very simple method - I didn't even bother tracking the cost here, but know that I am paying around $0.5 per click.
