ClickerVolt vs Keitaro: You Own the Server, You Rent the Slots

Ownership disclosure first, because it should shade every sentence below it. I own ClickerVolt. I built it, I sell it, and I have an obvious commercial interest in how this page reads. Check the figures against the two vendor pages rather than trusting my tone. I have dated and sourced all of them so you can.

Keitaro is the tracker people buy when they have decided that their click data should live on a machine they control. It installs on a server you rent, it charges a flat license fee that does not move when your traffic triples, and it has a long track record in exactly the traffic verticals where flat pricing matters most. That argument is real and I am not going to soften it.

What almost nobody checks before signing is the row below the price. On every individual Keitaro plan, including the €104 one, the pricing page allows 5 Google Ads integrations and 5 TikTok integrations. You own the box outright. The connections from that box to the platforms you actually buy on are metered by tier.

That is the tension in this pairing. Keitaro sells you sovereignty over storage. It rations the connections out.

Disclosure: ClickerVolt is our product. We aim for fairness in every comparison: we credit competitors where they excel and only highlight genuine gaps. All pricing and features are verified against live sources.

I am not going to print a break-even month. Keitaro prices in euros, ClickerVolt prices in dollars, and any chart that crosses the two is arithmetic performed on a foreign exchange rate that moves every day. You will not find a savings figure anywhere on this page.

Keitaro Overview

Keitaro is a self-hosted tracker. You buy a license, you provision a server, you install it, and from then on the click log, the conversion table and the reports all sit on hardware you are paying for directly. The product around that is mature: a landing page editor with local storage, user scripts, a flows engine, a Click API, an Admin API, traffic filtering with dashboard protection, and its own geo database rather than a rented lookup.

What Keitaro Does Well vs ClickerVolt

  • It gives you actual data sovereignty, which ClickerVolt cannot offer at any price. The click rows live on your server, under your jurisdiction, subject to your backup policy and nobody else's. ClickerVolt has no self-hosted build and no plan for one. If a compliance officer, a partner contract or your own conviction says the raw data cannot sit on a vendor's infrastructure, this comparison is over and Keitaro wins it.
  • Flat pricing that does not react to a traffic spike. A campaign that goes from 200,000 clicks to 2 million costs the same €40 next month. ClickerVolt is usage-based, so the same spike moves my invoice and not Keitaro's. For pop, push and native arbitrage at genuine volume, that is the single most persuasive argument on this page.
  • A landing page editor with local landing storage. You upload, edit and serve landers from inside the tracker. ClickerVolt has nothing equivalent, so you keep whatever page-hosting arrangement you already have.
  • User scripts and a flows engine with real depth. Keitaro lets you write logic into the routing layer rather than around it. ClickerVolt's routing is deliberately narrower.
  • A track record ClickerVolt has not earned yet. Keitaro has been the default in several arbitrage communities for years. I launched in 2025. Longevity is a legitimate purchasing criterion and I am not going to pretend otherwise.

Nineteen years of buying traffic has taught me that the self-hosted argument is almost always made about the wrong risk. People say they self-host so nobody can shut them down or read their data, and both of those are real. What I keep seeing is that the actual daily benefit is the flat invoice, and the actual daily cost is that you are now running a server. Those two facts should be weighed against each other openly instead of dressed up as a philosophy.

I will say this clearly: if your traffic is high-volume and low-margin per click, the flat license is not a preference, it is the correct answer. Nothing in the rest of this article overturns that.

Where Keitaro Falls Short vs ClickerVolt

  • The integration slots are metered while the license is flat. Five Google Ads integrations and five TikTok integrations on every individual tier, including the €104 Expert plan. Team raises Google Ads to 10 and TikTok to 25 at €200/mo. Enterprise reaches 20 and 50 at €400/mo. If you run more ad accounts than that, and media buyers running compliance-sensitive verticals routinely do, the flat license stops being flat.
  • The server is a real cost that never appears in the price comparison. Keitaro's own pricing FAQ carries the question "Do I need to purchase hosting?", which tells you the answer before you open it. The €40 is the license. The machine, the operating system, the updates, the backups and the hour you spend on them are yours.
  • The operating system is not your choice. Third-party reviews consistently report CentOS 9 or 10 Stream only, with KVM virtualisation and no OpenVZ. I did not open Keitaro's own requirements page in this session, so treat this as reported rather than vendor-quoted, but every source I checked agreed. It narrows the hosting market you can shop in.
  • No documented refund reversal onward to the ad platforms. I looked for vendor documentation of an automatic refund or chargeback push to Meta, Google or TikTok on 2026-08-20 and did not find one. That is a "checked and not found", not a claim that the feature does not exist.
  • No documented 15-parameter Meta customer-information payload. Same standard of evidence: the vendor documents a Facebook integration, but I found no published statement of how many of Meta's fifteen customer-information parameters it populates.

ClickerVolt Overview

ClickerVolt runs on Cloudflare's edge. Free to 500 events a month, then usage-based in packs of a thousand events starting at $1.70 and stepping down to $0.05 at volume. Every feature is on every plan, including the free one. There is no CAPI tier, no integration allowance and no seat ladder.

What ClickerVolt Does Well vs Keitaro

  • Fifteen Meta customer-information parameters on the free plan. Meta grades Event Match Quality across fifteen fields. Roughly five ride along with any competent server-side call. The other ten have to be deliberately captured and deliberately sent. ClickerVolt sends all fifteen where they exist, on every plan, and Keitaro publishes no equivalent figure.
  • Refund Sync, which is the feature this whole site exists for. When money comes back, ClickerVolt fires a Google RETRACT, a Meta ClickerVolt_Refund and a TikTok CancelOrder. Logging a refund and reconciling a refund are two different jobs. I found no vendor documentation that Keitaro does the second one.
  • Native IPN receivers for ClickBank, JVZoo and WarriorPlus. One-step intake rather than a postback you assemble by hand.
  • Nothing is metered except events. No integration slots, no seat count, no domain ceiling beyond a dollar a month per custom domain. The ad accounts you connect are your business.
  • Unlimited retention with no disk to manage. Your history does not depend on how big a volume you provisioned two years ago.

Where ClickerVolt Falls Short vs Keitaro

  • You cannot self-host it. At all. The raw click data sits on infrastructure I operate. If that is disqualifying, it is disqualifying, and I would rather you find that out here than three weeks in.
  • Usage-based pricing punishes exactly the traffic Keitaro is best at. A million-event month is $100 on my pricing and €40 on theirs. At ten million, the gap widens further in their favour. Volume arbitrage is not the shape my pricing was built for.
  • No landing page editor, no local landing storage. Keitaro ships one. I do not, and you will need to host pages somewhere else.
  • No user-script layer and shallower routing logic. Keitaro's flows engine does things mine does not attempt.
  • Launched 2025, no SOC 2 certification claimed. If procurement is involved, that is a real answer to a real question, and the answer is no.

Head-to-Head Comparison

The Slot Ladder Nobody Reads

Flat pricing is the reason people choose Keitaro, so it is worth being precise about where the flatness stops. Seats and domains climb with the tier, which everyone expects. The integration allowances climb too, and almost nobody checks them before buying, because a row that says "5 Integrations Google Ads" reads like a feature list rather than a limit.

What the flat license actually meters Keitaro allowances as published, yearly billing. ClickerVolt for contrast. Plan Price / mo Seats Google Ads slots TikTok slots Starter €40 1 5 5 Advanced €72 1 5 5 Expert €104 5 5 5 Team €200 50 10 25 Enterprise €400 Unlimited 20 50 THE LICENSE IS FLAT. THE CONNECTIONS ARE NOT. ClickerVolt Free to 500 events Not metered Not metered Not metered You own the machine and pay for it separately, on top of the license Events are the only meter no seats, no slots, no per-tier feature gate

Every individual Keitaro tier allows the same five Google Ads and five TikTok integrations; raising that ceiling means moving to a business plan.

Two honest caveats on that table. Both pricing pages rendered the yearly toggle when I fetched them on 2026-08-20, so those are the yearly-billed figures. Third-party reviews report monthly-billed rates of €49, €89 and €129 on the individual tiers, which I could not confirm from the vendor page and am therefore not treating as fact. And the individual pricing page rendered the same feature rows across all three columns, while some third-party reviews describe Click API and the Facebook integration as Advanced-tier additions. I could not resolve that conflict, so this article claims only the seat, domain and integration numbers, which the vendor page states plainly.

Signal Depth on the Server-Side Call

Both products can send a server-side event. That is where the similarity stops, because a conversion API call is not one thing. It is an envelope, and what determines whether Meta ties your sale to a real account is how many of the fifteen customer-information fields are inside it.

Meta's fifteen customer-information parameters Keitaro publishes no parameter count. The first five arrive with almost any server-side setup. Parameter Typical server-side setup ClickerVolt client_ip_address client_user_agent fbc (click identifier) fbp (browser identifier) em (hashed email) MOST SETUPS STOP HERE ph (hashed phone) fn (first name) ln (last name) ge (gender) db (date of birth) ct (city) st (state) zp (zip) country external_id 5 / 15 15 / 15

The five fields above the line arrive on their own; the ten below have to be captured on your own page and deliberately sent.

Network Intake and What Happens After the Sale

Keitaro handles network conversions the way most trackers do: a postback URL, an S2S callback, the Click API when you need programmatic access. It works, it is well documented, and anyone who has set up a postback before will have it running in an afternoon. ClickerVolt ships native IPN receivers for ClickBank, JVZoo and WarriorPlus, which collapses that afternoon into a single credential paste. That is a convenience difference, not a capability difference, and I am not going to inflate it.

The capability difference is what happens on day 24 when the buyer takes the money back.

The customer refunds on day 24 Refund posted Logged, not reconciled Tracker report shows the reversal Your ROI column corrects itself Meta, Google and TikTok hear nothing Reconciled outward Google Ads: RETRACT adjustment Meta: ClickerVolt_Refund event TikTok: CancelOrder event Every unsynced refund teaches the algorithm to find more customers like the ones who refund Checked 2026-08-20: no vendor documentation of an onward refund push found on Keitaro's side. Not found is not the same as does not exist, and this article does not claim otherwise.

A reversal that stops inside the tracker corrects your reporting and leaves three bidding models optimising on the sale that came undone.

Data Retention

Keitaro's retention is whatever your disk holds and whatever your pruning job leaves behind. That is genuinely unlimited in principle and finite in practice, and the practice is a decision you have to make and then maintain. ClickerVolt keeps unlimited history on every plan and there is no disk for you to think about. Which of those you prefer depends entirely on whether you enjoy owning the problem.

The Box Is Yours. The Clock Is Not.

Here is the thing self-hosting does not fix, and it is the reason I wrote this article the week I did.

You own the server, so your click record is permanent. You can query a conversion from 2024 at three in the morning and nobody can take it away from you. That is real, and Keitaro delivers it.

The ad platforms do not care.

Meta's Conversions API rejects any event whose event_time is more than seven days in the past, and it does not reject that event quietly. If a single event in the batch is over the line, Meta returns an error for the entire request and processes none of it. Google keeps a GCLID for 90 days and drops any offline conversion uploaded after that window closes. Those are vendor-documented limits, not folklore.

Now line those up against how affiliate revenue actually arrives. The initial sale lands in seconds. The upsell lands the same hour. The first rebill lands on day 30. The refund lands somewhere between day 14 and day 60 depending on the guarantee. The chargeback can land later still.

Everything past day seven is outside Meta's window before it ever reaches your outbox. Everything past day 90 is outside Google's. Owning the storage does not extend either deadline by an hour, because the deadline belongs to the buyer of the signal, not the keeper of the record.

I call the space between those two clocks the settlement lag: the interval between the moment your money is final and the moment the platform stops accepting news about it. Self-hosting makes your side of that interval permanent. It does nothing whatsoever to the other side.

What actually helps is unglamorous. Capture identity early, while the visitor is still on a page you control, so that a late event still has match keys attached. Send the reversal the day it posts rather than in a monthly batch, because a monthly batch guarantees you are outside the seven-day window before you press send. And know which of your revenue events fall on which side of the line before you design the reporting around them.

Keitaro gives you a permanent, sovereign, flat-priced record of clicks. ClickerVolt is built to get the correction out of the door before the window shuts. Those are different problems and it is entirely possible to have both of them.

Final Recommendation

Choose Keitaro if the raw click data has to sit on infrastructure you control, or your traffic volume is high enough that usage-based pricing is obviously the wrong shape, or you want the landing page editor and the flows engine in the same box as the tracker. All three are good reasons and none of them are things I can talk you out of.

Choose ClickerVolt if your problem is match quality and reversals rather than storage, you would rather not run a server, and you want the full Meta payload and the refund push without a tier ladder or an integration allowance in the way.

Run both if you are already on Keitaro and happy with it. The click log staying where it is does not stop the reconciliation layer from living somewhere else. That is not a sales line, it is how most of the setups I respect are actually put together.

FAQ

How much does Keitaro cost in 2026?

Keitaro's published yearly-billed pricing is €40/mo Starter, €72/mo Advanced and €104/mo Expert on the individual plans, and €200/mo Team and €400/mo Enterprise on the business plans, verified on the vendor's two pricing pages on 2026-08-20. Third-party reviews report higher monthly-billed rates of €49, €89 and €129 for the individual tiers, which the vendor page did not display in that session. The license does not include the server, which you provision and pay for separately.

How many ad accounts can I connect to Keitaro?

The vendor pricing pages state 5 Google Ads integrations and 5 TikTok integrations on all three individual plans, 10 and 25 on Team, and 20 and 50 on Enterprise. The Facebook integration is listed without a number on every tier. If you run more ad accounts than your tier's allowance, the flat license stops being flat.

Is ClickerVolt a Keitaro alternative?

Only for part of the job. ClickerVolt does not self-host, has no landing page editor and has no user-script layer, so it does not replace what Keitaro is chosen for. It replaces the layer that decides how much identity reaches Meta, Google and TikTok, and whether a refund travels onward. Plenty of people should run both.

Does Keitaro send the full 15-parameter Meta CAPI payload?

I checked on 2026-08-20 and found no vendor documentation stating a parameter count. Keitaro documents a Facebook integration; it does not publish how many of Meta's fifteen customer-information fields it populates. That is a "checked and not found", and the honest thing is to ask them directly before you assume either answer.

Can I self-host ClickerVolt?

No. There is no self-hosted build and none is planned. The raw click data sits on infrastructure I operate on Cloudflare's edge. If that is disqualifying for you, Keitaro is the better purchase and this article is not trying to argue otherwise.

Why does a seven-day Meta window matter if my tracker keeps data forever?

Because the two clocks are independent. Meta returns an error for an entire Conversions API request if any event in it is more than seven days old, and Google will not import an offline conversion more than 90 days after the click. Your tracker's retention has no effect on either deadline. A refund that posts on day 30 is already outside Meta's window no matter whose server the original click is stored on.
