Managing Your Profile
Your profile contains your basic account information. Update your name and email address to keep your account current.
Profile Fields
First Name and Last Name
Your first and last name appear on invoices and receipts. These fields are required and can be updated anytime in your profile settings.
Email Address
Your email is used for account notifications, billing receipts, and support communication. To change your email, click "Change Email", enter your new address and current password, then verify the new address via the email we send you.
Username
Your username is permanent and cannot be changed after registration. It's used in two places: your default subdomain (username.clickervolt.com) for tracking links, and your referral link (clickervolt.com/invite/username). It cannot be modified for consistency and technical reasons.
How to Update Your Profile
Navigate to Settings in the top navigation
Your profile information is displayed with email, first name, and last name fields
Edit your first name or last name as needed
Click "Save Changes" to update
You'll see a success message when your profile is updated
Changing Your Email Address
Email changes require verification to ensure you have access to the new address:
Click "Change Email" button next to your current email
Enter your new email address
Enter your current password for security verification
Click "Send Verification"
Check your new email inbox for the verification link
Click the verification link to complete the email change
Your email is updated after verification
Important:
You must verify the new email before the change takes effect
Notifications continue to your old email until verification completes
Verification links expire after a certain period for security
If you don't receive the email, check your spam folder

Why Username Cannot Be Changed
Your username is used in two critical places: your default subdomain (username.clickervolt.com) for tracking links, and your referral link (clickervolt.com/invite/username). Changing usernames would break all existing tracking links using your subdomain and referral links shared with others. Additionally, username is used internally for database relationships and cannot be safely modified after account creation.
Email Verification Security
Email verification prevents unauthorized email changes. Even if someone gains access to your account, they cannot change your email without knowing your password. After clicking "Send Verification", the new email receives a verification link. Until you click that link, your original email remains active.
Account Security
Keep your profile information current for account security and communication. Use a real email address you check regularly. If your email becomes inaccessible and you need to change it, contact support for manual verification. Never share your password with anyone - we will never ask for it.
